I guess most of the people should have heard of the little prince book. The Little Prince (French: Le Petit Prince), first published in 1943, is a novella and the most famous work of the French aristocrat, writer, poet and pioneering aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900–1944).

The novella is both the most read and most translated book in the French language, and was voted the best book of the 20th century in France. Translated into more than 250 languages and dialects, as well as braille, and selling over a million copies per year with sales totaling more than 140 million copies worldwide, it has become one of the best-selling books ever published.

The Little Prince is a poetic tale self-illustrated in watercolours in which a pilot stranded in the desert meets a young prince fallen to Earth from a tiny asteroid. The story is philosophical and includes societal criticism, remarking on the strangeness of the adult world.

And now there is a cafe theme of the little prince named the little prince cafe which is located at 62 Somme Road. It is quite a nice and cozy place with limited seats available. It is a good place for taking photos with friends, chit chatting and enjoying the books of the little prince. The staffs are very friendly and nice who will always greet you with a great smile. Most importantly, the concept and design of the environment is personally drawn by the owner which is really very unique and nice.

Nestled in a quiet corner of the Kampong Glam heritage district, Artistry is a new art gallery and café in a shophouse dedicated to art – in every sense of the word.

As its name suggests, the space and concept are all about creativity and mastery of craft, with a nod to the quaint and quirky. At Artistry, emerging artists – both local and international – now have a platform for their debut exhibitions, performances, talks and events in an intimate and inviting space. The hybrid gallery and café serves up locally roasted Liberty Coffee and lovingly made artisan desserts, served on beautifully hand-crafted pottery.

Artistry is a refreshing addition to Singapore’s burgeoning creative community, creating a comfortable space to reflect, engage and share ideas.

By the way, they got their delicious pies from Windowsill In The Woods.

There are quite a lot of cafes in Holland Village. Initially, wanted to go to d' good cafe and Mu Palour for cafe, but didn't expect that d' good cafe is full of people and Mu Palour is closed for event. (I suppose). In the end, manage to find another cafe for tea. Craft bakery & Cafe. Craft bakery & cafe is a bright, modern-looking cafe with wooden bench and white walls and it is located just opposite of Haagen Daz.

This cafe also provide free wifi with password given on the receipt.
